RISMEDIA, Saturday, February 27, 2016 —

This intriguing geometric wonder contains three equally linked houses that all have a 360-degree view and maximum openness. Welcome to the Tetris House, designed by Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars (Universe Architecture). Now ready for production in various countries, the structure is comprised of a steel modular structure and a meccano-like façade. Tetris House residents are free to add elements such as balconies or shutters, and can also change the interior to suit their needs. The Tetris House design, a simple system of piled blocks, can be licensed to interested developers. The first envisioned realization in The Netherlands (Leimuiden) aims to celebrate its surrounding nature with floating, self-sufficient Tetris Houses.

Renowned Dutch firm i29 is on board to design this and other unique interiors, both minimal and extravagant, for future residents.
